Pathology Lab
Pathology Lab
As Lucknow First Private Laboratory powered by VITROS® Automation Solution. We at SIDC focus our highest attention to the importance of precision, speed, and accuracy in laboratory operations. Lab Automation combined with bi-direction integration, bar-coding & automated analyzers ensures minimal error and accuracy in testing. This shift has brought in process improvement, quality testing and has even provided safety of the technicians. Our team of trained pathologists, with the help of an automated tracer, verify the results of every sample and implement quality checks to ensure the highest precision in testing for our patients.
Industry Leading Quality in Lab Results
At SIDC, we value that every result matters, and hence follow industry leading practices to produce results that you can rely on.
- NABL Accreditation: Our centralized laboratory is NABL Accredited, and follows stringent quality management norms with delta checks, assurances and internal testing.
- Dry Chemistry Based Technologies: Unlike most other leading NABL Accredited Pathology Labs in Lucknow, SIDC uses Dry Chemistry in most of its testing. Dry Chemistry is the most advanced technology from USA on a fully automated biochemistry platform giving quick, reliable, accurate, and consistent patient results. Clinicians rely on it to treat for better patient outcomes. It does not require external interventions like usage of a high amount of water or washing that eliminates these elements as potential sources of error. It uses a single disposable slide for every test with unique multi-layered Dry Slide Technology producing better precision & accuracy. It's main downside is that Dry chemistry has a higher cost and thus is more expensive to run, but at SIDC, we believe in serving the best, providing quality and world-class service at an affordable price ethically.
- Robotic Lab Automation: The implementation of VITROS Automation Solution for achieving Robotic Total Lab Automation for automated sample transfer between equipment, along with an automated decapper and conveyor belt (track automation), significantly mitigates human intervention in the lab further bolstering quality in processes.
- Internal Quality Controls (IQC): SIDC follows daily Internal Quality Control Checks in the laboratory across lab departments and divisions, because every results matters. Daily IQC checks has been the most important pillar for our lab in enabling our growth and cementing our industry leading reputation.
- Automation: At SIDC we focus on centralizing our operations to provide you consistent and dependable results across the laboratory divisions. Please read the instrumentation list below, to understand the reasons why our lab is emerging as the industry leader in the pathology space.
- External Quality Assurance Schemes (EQAS): To further strengthen our incessant quality efforts, SIDC follows EQAS programs for many tests in the lab to enable a performance comparison with peer labs across the globe.
- Inter-Lab Comparisons (ILC): In our strive to give you quality that you can rely on, we periodically engage in Inter Lab Comparisons with leading labs for many tests to ensure consistency with industry peers.
Erythropoietin
The test determines the amount of of a hormone called erythropoietin (EPO) in the blood. The EPO hormone is primarily made in the kidneys and helps the body maintain a healthy amount of red blood cells (erythrocytes). High or low erythropoietin levels may lead to various health problems.
ASCA IgG Test
Anti-Saccharomyces cerevisiae antibodies (ASCA) are proteins found in individuals with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), a condition marked by inflammation, chronic symptoms and autoimmunity. The ASCA test helps find out these antibodies in the blood. The ASCA blood test also differentiates between Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
Allergy-Gluten
The allergy-gluten test helps determine whether an individual is allergic to gluten. Gluten is a collection of seed storage proteins usually found in grains like wheat, barley, oats, and rye.
Urine Calcium/Creatinine Ratio
The Urine Calcium Creatinine Ratio (UCa/Cr) helps evaluate how much calcium is being excreted in urine relative to creatinine, a waste product also found in urine. The ratio is crucial for assessing calcium metabolism and kidney function.
Triglyceride
This test is generally increased level of triglycerides along with elevated cholesterol levels indicate risk of atherosclerotic disease
Total IgA
The Total Immunoglobulin-A test is generally useful for the detection and monitoring of monoclonal gammopathies
Torch IgG Profile
Detect common agents causing uterine infection resulting to recurrent abortion and transmission from mother to child, Please check Torch Igg Profile test price in Delhi NCR at HOD centers.
Thyroid Antibodies
The Thyroid Antibodies test is generally useful in the diagnosis of thyroid autoimmune disorders.
Urine Proteins - 24 Hour
24 Hour Urine Test for Protein Levels (UPRO - Urinary Protein), This test is generally increased in various forms of nephropathies.
